Orchestra of St. Luke’s: Bologne + Mozart

Based on CDC and DOH guidance, anyone considered at high-risk for an adverse reaction to COVID, due to age or health status, should not attend the concert in person and are encouraged to participate via livestream. Anyone who joins us in person is expected to wear a mask at all times and observe social distancing of at least 6 feet.

For each person attending, we will need their name and email address to send a health screening to ahead of time. It is not sufficient enough to have just one email address per family, it needs to be per person.

Additionally, people can only sit with others who live at the same address as them and it is a first come, first served seating.

THE EVENT:
String Quartet No. 4 in C Minor, by Chevalier de St. Georges, descendant of an enslaved Guadeloupean, who become one of the earliest French composers of string quartets and symphonies

Clarinet Quintet, by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, composed in 1789 as a showpiece for his friend clarinetist Anton Stadler to demonstrate his technical aplomb and lyricism from its soloist. This is one of Mozart’s best-known works written especially for the clarinet.

About the series:

Orchestra of St. Luke’s: Composers of Note

Orchestra of St. Luke's returns to The Streicker Center for their 41st – 44th concerts, with four unique programs that bring together favorite works from the Classical era and music by living composers. Many of the latter composers have been championed in recent seasons through OSL’s Music in Color initiative.
